Welcome to the Taste of Celebration Tour. Your local guide will meet you under the marquee at the theater to check in. From there you’ll walk at a leisurely pace stopping at 5 eateries to taste food and drink representative of what those restaurants do best while learning about that establishment and its food and of course some of the history, architecture, and culture of Celebration. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and take photos. Come on, try us, it really is fun!
Columbia Restaurant
Founded in 1905 by Cuban immigrant Casimiro Hernandez, Sr., the Columbia Restaurant in Tampa is Florida’s oldest restaurant. Enjoy the old world charm and world class food at the Columbia's 5th location in Celebration.
Celebration Town Tavern
The term "tavern" can evoke a lot of images, comfort being one of them. Be assured, this family-owned New England seafood restaurant is just that. Fresh seafood is flown in from Ipswich Mass several times weekly. Enjoy whole belly clams, Maine lobster, Boston scrod, Fish N' Chips etc.

Imperium Food and Wine was recently voted one of Orlando's favorite wine bars. From the extensive wine list, boasting wines from all over the world, to the local art hanging on the walls, to the ever changing craft beer selection. Relax on one of the outdoor patios, sip on a nice glass of wine, and enjoy one of the delicious dishes Imperium Food and Wine has to offer.
Kilwins Ice Cream
WOW ……….. is what most people say when the walk into our Kilwins store. The smell of the chocolate, fudge and caramel products being made along with the fresh baked waffle cones can be just WOW. You can see lots of products on display from the hand dipped chocolate, Caramel apples, pretzel sticks, Twinkies, Oreos, marshmallow puffs and Krispie treats. You can also see the Fudge, Caramel Corn and Brittles with Cashew and Pecan nuts being made in our copper kettle and then mixed on the marble slabs.
Please meet your tour guide under the movie theater marquee (the 2 tall spires) in between Kilwins and the Columbia across from the lake. Your guide will be wearing a CFT shirt, there is plenty of free parking and the tour winds up in the exact spot your start.
Get DirectionsThe tours are held rain or shine In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. We strongly suggest you bring an umbrella or poncho if it looks like it may rain.. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.
Absolutely not! Besides the delicious food and drink tastings, your guide will enlighten you about the history, architecture, culture and provide you lots of fun facts about the town. You will also learn about what you are tasting and some tidbits about each establishment you visit.
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. There is a section to fill out during the online purchase to notify us. As long as we know in advance, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%. Gratuities for the wait staff at the tasting locations are already taken care of by Celebrate Food Tours.
